Dumah’s Demons

Dumah’s Demons (The AngelFire Chronicles – 1.5) by Ami Blackwelder

5 stars

(Excerpt from Goodreads) The story of Dumah, Kian’s sister and how she becomes a Dark Angel. The reader will better understand Dameon and Kian through this story, which is told through the eyes of Dumah.

Follow her story as she and Kian fight to survive on the streets of Manhattan. See how one event changes both of their lives forever, driving her toward the darkness of the Dark Angels and Kian toward the AngelFire protectors.

This story starts out after a bad gang attacks Kain and Dumah, his sister. Dumah starts having strange abilities and runs into Dameon. He explains to her how she is part angel and how she has special abilities. He also tells her how doing evil things can change her person. Dameon gives her a home, helps encourage her to use her abilities, and seems to give her the love that she is looking for. But there is something going on and Dameon is going to need Dumah’s help.

I really liked how you learn more about Dameon. This tied into She Speaks to Angels but it also can be a stand alone story. I loved it and felt compassion for Dumah when she found her place with the Dark Angels. Now I’m going to have to go back and read She Speaks to Angels again.

This is a great novella, just a quick taste to get you wanting more with She Speaks to Angels and Falling Angels.

I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review.

You can find Dumah’s Demons on Amazon and Goodreads.
