Trolling for Trouble (Lynlee Lincoln – 1) by Olivia Hardin

5 stars

(Excerpt from Goodreads) Magical and undead creatures can get into plenty of sticky situations. Lynlee Lincoln loves her job as a neutralizer, but she needs a break from the supernatural chaos after an ultra-busy Halloween night. Coming home, she’s ready to collapse into her bed and forget the day… until she discovers two children scavenging through her refrigerator. One look at the pair and she feels a tug on her heartstrings, then she learns their father is the man she spent years trying to forget. When Beck pleads with her to help save his daughter, Lynlee gets thrust into a heap of trouble.

Lynlee policies the magical and undead creatures, those that have dropped the ball and have been seen by humans, it’s her job to clean up the mess. It has been one busy Halloween and all Lynlee wants to do is go to sleep. But she discovers two children in her house followed by an ex true love that is completely against the while witch thing.

What is Lynlee to do? Kick them out? Help the man that broke her heart? But what about these cute little kids that tug at her heart? She finally agrees to help and goes on the hunt for a troll that has been harassing Beck’s family.

This is a great novella. I read it in my spare time at work. Well, I got sucked into the story and work really became spare time. I really like Lynlee and loved the different ways she came up to help cover for the magical and undead.

This is a great, quick read that will leave you wanting more. Make sure to check out Tangled Up In Trouble, book two.

I received this book for free from the author in exchange for an honest review.

Make sure to check out Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Goodreads and Olivia Hardin’s website to purchase Trolling for Trouble or for more information on her other books.
