Snafu Fubar: Nothing Heroic by Bob Dixon
*****WARNING***** If you are easily offended, then this is NOT the book for you. Please put it down and back away slowly. However, if you have a warped sense of humor, please read on. In the town of Lost Hope, Florida reside two heroes unlike any others. These champions of justice go by the names of Snafu Fubar and General Nuisance. Nightly they patrol their fine city to protect it from evil’s grasp. And by ‘patrol’ we mean they sit on a porch, appropriately nicknamed ‘The Fucking Nuisance Cave’, drinking beers, smoking cigars, and talking about sex.

My Review
5 stars
Snafu Fubar and General Nuisance are two super heroes in their own minds. They protect the city from their front porch as they drink beer, ramble on about women, smoking cigars, and anything else the general drunken redneck can be found doing. And where you find super heroes, you will also find villains. The Evil Overlord, Da Bad Guy, and their henchman Ralph continually spy on Snafu Fubar and General Nuisance while they plan of taking them out.
For those of use that have a bend sense of humor, you need to read this book. Make sure to start with the copyright page, I had to have it pointed out to me since I usually skip this page. This sets the stage for a romp through cheating wives, a couple armed robberies gone wrong, a wanna be super hero that is a complete miss, and an evil plan that has no chance in hell of working.
If you are looking for a quick, hilarious read you need to check out Snafu Fubar. You will be laughing from the first page all the way through the end. This will brighten any rotten day.
I received Snafu Fubar from the author for free. This has in no way influenced my opinion of this book.
