She has changed her name and is on the hunt for the vampire to save her brother. When she gets into town she meets the sheriff, Shane. Shane is a werewolf and knows that Annabel is his soul mate. Of course he is overly protective of her which is not going to make Annabel’s hunt easy. But she cannot deny that there are sparks between them.

I really enjoyed this book. Annabel is one tough cookie and she is determined to get her vampire. But she cannot deny her feelings for Shane. Granted she doesn’t need him saving her. But what should she do? Should she keep up the facade? Should she tell Shane the truth about being a hybrid? Then there is Shane who is so sweet and eager to keep Annabel with him.

This is a great paranormal romance. It has bad guys, a kick butt heroine, and a steamy romance. I really enjoyed this book and can’t wait to read the next book in the series.
