But when he realizes she has the same strange phenomenon inside her body that he does—the ability to move objects with her mind, David is forced to question his life, his childhood and his father’s motives. My Review
5 stars
Skye Hunter has telekinetic abilities and so does her son, Tyler. But there are people that are hunting both of them down. Skye is willing to do anything to protect her son. To figure out why they are being hunted down she looks into her past and remembers David Bishop. They have a past together and David also shares the telekinetic abilities. David doesn’t believe Skye at first then when he has proof he is forced to question his father and his own childhood. Is he going to help out Skye and Tyler?
Skye is willing to do whatever it takes to keep Tyler safe including blackmail. She is a hard woman but she has had to be to survive. But things are getting harder and she turns to David for help. Of course Skye is not going to take no for an answer and comes across so hard that she almost pushes David away. I don’t really blame him for pushing back against her. I would too.
I loved the idea of this story and the romance was perfect. It was well written and drew me in. I wanted Skye and Tyler to be safe and I was hoping David would help them. But at the same time I could understand why it took him so long to come to his decision, he just had his world shaken and wanted to make the best decision.
This was a series of six shorter stories in one book and I’m so glad that I had the opportunity to review this book. I can’t wait to read other books from H.D. Thomson.
I received Identity from the author for free. This has in no way influenced my opinion of this book.
