My Review
5 stars
Their time on the island is over, but this is just the beginning of the Temptation Trials. First, all of the couples are put on a cruise ship to get them back to the main land so they can attend the Temptation Ball. Of course you know what that is going cause, cat fights! Cali and Stefani are now trying to work through everything they went through on the island.
Then they get to the Temptation Ball and get to be fully embarrassed with all their infidelities on the big screen for everyone to see, including Cade and Tobias. Of course now we have more drama but the real twist is that Eminence has a surprise ending for the Temptation Trials. These trials are not what they seem and our young couples have a whole new level to deal with.
I really enjoyed the Temptation Trials. It had a great idea and a lot of steam in it. Granted there was a lot more action in part one but part two takes this simple concept to a whole new level. I was constantly kept off balance and didn’t know what was going to happen next.
I admit that I really don’t like love triangles, this is a big pet peeve of mine along with insta-love. But in this story it works out, you expect it since that is the nature of the story. I was completely thrown by the ending but loved it at the same time.
This is a great duology and I really enjoyed it. I do recommend reading the books in order or you will miss out on a lot. I can’t wait to read other books by B. Truly.
I received Temptation Trials II from Reading Addiction Virtual Book Tours for free. This has in no way influenced my opinion of this book.

Do you know about Noblebright Fantasy?
Noblebright Fantasy refers to stories in which the main motivation of the characters is an altruistic proposal or quest, and the world in which they live upholds hope and the possibility of better. Noblebright characters choose to act with kindness and honor, are rewarded for their good qualities, and their world, although not perfect, is beautiful and valuable.
Brand new Epic/High Fantasy collection “Heroes and Swords”, brings you a selection of Noblebright stories with strong heroes and magical worlds that will take you back to the times of classic fantasy. Here’s a sneak peek of what you’ll find!
Noblebright Fantasy Book: Mismerion.
High fantasy intrigue prevails amongst the necromancers of Mismerion.
The enchanters of the Old Keep are scattered, ruined by the necromancer Aurimag, a twisted magician of the long-time venerable order. Only a shape-shifter, shrunken to the size of a knee-high midget, and an infamous outlaw and his ragtag band of pirate adventurers can save the Order, though none would think it. The adventurers flee from Sloe, the fabled Blue City of the south, as lowly outlaws, wanted for stealing a glamorous princess, and their fate—a perilous plod through the Brauvn forest to come to the gates of Farling’s Wall and the realm of the half-human Wickles.
Baus of Heagram, a moody, wayward youth, has been thrust on an adventure. He holds a magic item, courtesy of a wizard: a ganglestick which can freeze enemies to immobility for short periods.
Pirates have harried him from Dwiterin Isle to the southlands. For a period, he was forced to join their band when they discovered he guarded knowledge of a stolen treasure. Escaping their clutches, he has tried to save a princess from a disastrous marriage; failed, unwittingly, now he struggles as an outlaw in the wilds of the Branx forest, hoping to elude fabled creatures of the woods.
Baus is an unlikely hero. Sometimes he borders on an anti-hero, but he will fight to defend his friends and thwart his enemies, especially the wizard Aurimag who has been responsible for his ill fortune from the get-go.

Scream Blue Murder by Tony Forder
Mike Lynch is going through hard times. But things get much worse when he witnesses a murder in a lay-by. Snatching the victim’s car in order to get away, Mike soon makes a shocking discovery – the victim’s young daughter and her nanny are hiding in the rear footwell. This is when the real trouble begins.
Mike wants to go to the police, but the nanny, Melissa, wants to delay until the daughter, Charlie, is somewhere safe. Mike agrees to this request before finding out the seriousness of the situation, and just how much danger they are really in.
Who exactly was the man he saw murdered? And who is the man he saw pulling the trigger?
In a situation where nothing is what it seems, Mike will have to fight for his life to protect a woman and a child he doesn’t know. And when the death count rises, he will discover what kind of man he really is.
When you can’t identify the victim, how can you find the killer?

Mason Cross, author of the Carter Blake thriller series.
Author’s Bio
Tony J Forder is the author of the critically acclaimed crime thriller Bad to the Bone, the first in a series featuring DI Jimmy Bliss and DC Penny Chandler. The second book in the series will be released in 2018, with a third currently in progress.
On 19 September 2017, Tony’s dark, psychological crime thriller, Degrees of Darkness, featuring ex-detective Frank Rogers, was also published by Bloodhound Books. This was intended to be a stand-alone novel, but Tony is now considering the possibility of a follow-up.
On 8 November, Bloodhound Books will publish Tony’s new fast-paced action thriller, Scream Blue Murder. This is the first novel in an intended series, and has received praise from both Mason Cross and Matt Hilton.
Some years ago, Tony won a short story competition judged by an editor from Pan Books. The story, Gino’s Bar and Grille, went on to be published in Dark Voices 2, part of the celebrated Pan Book of Horror series. Three further short story sales followed: Book End, published in Dark Voices 4, Character Role, in FEAR magazine, and finally A Grim Story, which featured in A Rattler’s Tale. It was the start of Tony’s publishing journey.
Tony is signed to Bloodhound Books for a minimum of four books, but believes there is much more to come.

Mike is having a day from hell. A long car trip to a job interview that he knows he is not going to get. On the way back home he decides to stop for a pit break when he witnesses a murder. Unfortunately the killer sees Mike and comes after him next. Mike takes off in the victim’s car and discovers Charlie and Melissa, the victim’s daughter and nanny.
Against his better judgement, Mike doesn’t take them to the police and finds himself with a target on his back. Mike calls in his friends to try and figure out what is happening. But this is going to be one tangled mess to straighten out. Thank goodness that is one thing Mike is good at.
After reading Degrees of Darkness, I couldn’t wait to get my grubby little hands on Scream Blue Murder. Although this is the same author, Tony Forder shows his skills by coming up with a great thriller that is from a different angle than Degrees of Darkness.
You are drug along into this fast paced story just as lost as Mike. But the answers come at a good pace and you are kept amped up trying to figure out what is going on and will come sliding in sideways to an amazing ending.
This is a great story that will keep you up late rushing to the end. I loved every moment of this book and can’t wait for the next book from Tony Forder.
I received Scream Blue Murder from Bloodhound Books for free. This has in no way influenced my opinion of this book.
