As parents, you try to do everything to raise your kids to be strong and keep them safe from the dangers of the world. This is beyond a full time job already. But how safe are your kids when it comes to the foods they eat? It’s sad to think that we are poisoning our children with the food we feed them because of all the pesticides that have been used to help the produce grow.
Poisoning Our Children is an extension of Andre Leu’s book The Myths of Safe Pesticides. He has spend a lot of time researching where most of our pesticides comes from, what damages they do the food and land, and how they react in our bodies. Poisoning Our Children takes this information one step further and lays it out for parents and what these pesticides are doing to our children.
This is a well thought out book with lots of information. It’s not very pretty and downright scary, but its information that we need to have. We have come to trust our governmental agencies like the FDA and such, but this book is going to show you how there is no good pesticide. That they don’t break down or are rigorously tested.
This is a very eye opening book and one that I recommend everyone read. It might not be your normal read but being educated on how these pesticides are affecting use and our children is very important information that we all need.
