Society stories all begin with a dimming of the lights.

grates on the other’s nerves.
committed by a shapeshifter, it looks like a routine case of clean &

Algiers Stanton is an incubus and works with Ophelia Dupre a fairy. Together they investigate murders while keeping the paranormal world hidden from humans. They are called in to investigate a murder caused by a werewolf. But what should be a simple murder case goes wrong and Stanton and Dupre find themselves in trouble in the middle of political turmoil.
I really enjoyed this story. Stanton and Dupre are perfect partners. They complement each other almost like an old married couple. I loved the snark from both of them. The story is well written and quickly drew me in.
This story has a little bit of everything thing in it and will appeal to almost everyone. This is my first story from Robert Hazelton but it will not be my last. I can’t wait to see what Stanton and Dupre get into next.

their working relationship is strained to say the least. Armed with
pop culture references, preconceived notions and a couple big guns,
these two very well may be the only thing standing between the world

Vinny Presaro has recently become a vampire and he loves it. He has a very popular game store things are going well. Well, it could be perfect if he didn’t creep out the ladies. Then he starts having very vivid dreams and thinks nothing of it. But when Presaro sees a woman that walks into his store straight out of the nightmare the night before he starts thinking that they might not be dreams but prophecies. He goes to the only person he knows that can help, Ophelia Dupre.
Ophelia is willing to work with Presaro even if she has issues with vampires, or in this case it might be one vampire in particular. But both are going to work together with all the snare and action as Glamour and Shadows had. I love how well Dupre and Presaro fit together. There are constant one liner’s that keep the humor high in such a dangerous case.
Nightlife Interrupted is everything Glamour and Shadows is plus so much more. I really enjoy this series and will have to buy the rest of the books to find out where Robert Hazelton is going to take this series.
