A father has lost his son in a brutal way then lost his wife in the aftermath. He has discovered the killer is a senior and has taken the role of a substitute teacher to get close to him. But just as he is getting ready to get his revenge, his son’s former girlfriend is having some trouble with a MS-13 gang. Things are going to get tough before he can get his revenge.

This was an interesting story. You have a broken man that has lost everything except the revenge for his son’s life. But he is going to find something to fight for when he discovers Girl and the trouble she is in.

This is a quick read with a lot of emotion, brutality, and a surprise ending. It was a tough twist and I could see where some would find it a trigger. I can understand the desire for revenge and can’t really fault him for it. Definitely not a normal read.
