It is fall in Silver Hollow and time for the Cranbeary Tea Party and the Oktobear Feast. While hosting the Cranbeary Tea Party Sasha is surprised to see her long time rival Holly Parker has moved back into town and opened a toy store and book store. But if that was not enough, Sasha’s ex is with Holly and they make a huge scene.
Later that night, Sasha and Maddie discover Holly’s shop assistant, Gina has been stabbed. Gina was wearing some of Holly’s clothes. The question is who killed Gina and if they meant to kill her or Holly. Sasha jumps into investigating the murderer before someone else turns up dead.
This is a great cozy mystery and second in the series. I loved coming back to Silver Hollow and the Silver Bear Shop and Factory. Sasha seems to be getting her life back on track until the appearance of Holly and Flynn. Of course Sasha is concerned because Holly’s business spells danger for Sasha and her cousin’s book store.
Gina had a past so of course we don’t really know who the killer was going after. I was kept on my toes and was completely surprised by the ending. I loved this book and think anyone that enjoys a cozy mystery should check this series out.

The small town of Silver Hollow is the home of the Silver Bear Shop, a family run teddy bear factory. Sasha Silverman has just gone through a divorce and has returned home to the family shop. Her parents have retired from the shop and left the running of the business in Sasha’s hands along with her sister Maddie and Uncle Ross. But she has one big hurtle, sales man Will Taylor who is trying to take control behind Sasha’s back.
Will announces that the production of the teddy bears is going to be sent overseas to the uproar of the whole factory. But that will come back to bit him when later that night Sasha and Maddie find Will’s body. If that was not scandal enough, the police believe Uncle Ross is the killer. So Sasha decides to take it upon herself to look into the murder of Will.
I love the setting with the wonderful little town and the teddy bear shop. I love Sasha, Maddie, and Ross. They work well together and help draw you into the mystery. I liked the mystery but did not really have me really guessing.
This is a great start to a new cozy mystery series. I liked the cute town and shop and can’t wait to find out what Sasha is going to get into next.
