Warning if you are offended easily, this is NOT the book for you. I repeat, NOT the book you are looking for. Put the book down, back away slowly, and run like hell.
Reading a book about two drunk superheroes who have absolutely no superpowers can lead to uncontrollable laughter; loud piggish snorting; loss of bladder control; wild rolling of eyes; repeated statements of, “Oh gawd;” and slight head shaking, wondering what the fuck you have gotten yourself into. The good news, however, is it will not cause you to have an erection, much less one lasting over 4 hours. So you will not need to call your doctor, although calling your friend to brag may be an option. But that is not to say that you will not need therapy after reading this book because, when Snafu Fubar: Nothing Heroic hit the bookstores, people said, “You can’t possibly get any worse. This is the most fucked up book ever.” From the depths of my creative subconscious, I smelled the whiff of a freshly lit cigar and heard Snafu Fubar: Soberphobics whisper oh, so lightly into the breeze…“You ain’t seen nothing yet. Hold my beer!”

My Review
5 Stars

Snafu Fubar and General Nuisance are back. Get ready for another messed up adventure with a couple drunken, cigar smoking super heroes from the trailer park. General has a surprise for Snafu and The F’ing Nuisance Cave; he had a special banner made. Unfortunately the banner company mixes up the order with a church’s Easter Egg Hunt banner. If that wasn’t funny enough, The Evil Overlord believe that the church is the secret lair for Snafu and General and has a plan to get rid of the unlikely heroes.

This is a fowl mouthed comedy about two half witted super heroes and their evil arch nemesis. It’s not for the sensitive or faint hearted. The story is crude and hilarious at some of the more disgusting thoughts and events. I have to agree with Tripod, I don’t know if I could drink enough tequila to remove some of the images from my mind.

But if this is your thing, you have to get this book. It will keep you laughing at the different things these two bumbling idiots get up to and will make you wonder what the heck is wrong with The Evil Overlord. All I can say is poor Ralph.

Make sure to check out the first book or not, you can easily read Soberphobics and not be too lost. I loved this book and can’t wait to see what Snafu and The General get up to next. Please hurry and write the next one Bob and Lynn!!!

I received a complimentary copy of this book. I voluntarily chose to read and post an honest review.
