My life was forever changed the night I had a flat tire. Someone who I always believed could be trusted was actually a devil in disguise. I willingly went with him, only to go missing…held captive.
I finally managed to escape and ran for my life, leaving behind sweet little Belle. I am desperate to find her, but to do so, I require help. There is only one place and one person I truly feel safe and free around…Jensen. He is my brother’s best friend; however, they aren’t friends anymore, they’re rivals, and I’m to blame.
Bam Bam
I should have been in that car with her, but a split second decision decided her fate. I’ve blamed myself all these years for her disappearance, and I believed her to be dead until she fell in my arms, barely recognizable.
I did the right thing for once in my life, taking her back to her family, but who was it right for? I need her, and no one will stand in my way as I get the answers I seek. Not even her brother.

Colbie Kay always had a love for reading and wanted to pursue writing. In 2015 she made that dream come true when she published her first book. Since then she has become a stay-at-home mom, writing full-time and bringing her passion to life through the words she creates.
The most fulfilling part of being an author for Colbie is to take readers into a fantasy world between the pages of her books. Becoming an author has also given her the opportunity to fill another passion of hers, which is traveling. She loves being able to attend book signings and meeting everyone that shares her love of books.
Colbie has many more stories to share with you, so be sure to connect with her and keep up with what is coming next.

I would like to thank Lip Service PR for the opportunity to share this book.
Emily Knight Series

is far from ordinary and she hates it! The daughter of a heroic
warrior and the press favourite problem child. Against her wishes
she is sent to the Osaki Training School to control her powers. She
learns to fly, breathe under water and battle but someone has their
eyes set on Emily and now she has to chose between the two people she loves.
other fantasy books. As well as being laugh out loud funny, the
characters are real, complicated and relatable. A. Bello pushes the
boundaries by breaking the conventions in this diverse, absorbing novel.
Emily Knight is 13 years old and trying to find her place in the world. Her brother disappeared years ago and her father, a great Warrior, left to find him. Her mother dies of cancer and Emily is left with her godparents. To try and get the attention of her father she starts acting out but this backfires and her godparents decide to send her to Osaki Training School to help her learn to use her abilities. There she meets some friends that become close, deal with bullies, learns about her abilities, and has doubts that her father will be happy with her since he is the best Warrior ever.
This was a cute fantasy read. I felt for Emily, she is right at that age where we start figuring things out about ourselves. I understand why she was getting into trouble but I think being sent to Osaki Training School was the best thing for her. Here she discovers things about herself and how to fit into this world.
I enjoyed this read and think it’s a great start to this series. I am very curious to see what happens in the next book. If you like mid-grade fantasy stories I think you should check this book out.
The warriors are forced to pick a side and to stand up for what they
believe in. The race is on to find the missing warrior first. It’s
the only way to prevent a war from happening and to stop Neci from
destroying everything. Emily Knight has to get sharper, stronger and
faster because Neci has made her a target and someone is going to
great lengths to hurt her. Can Emily win the race? Or will Neci take
her down once and for all?
Emily Knight is back. She is still at the Osaki Training School and very much a teenager. She is starting to mature and see boys in a different light. There is still the same school issues like friends, bullies, and trying to fit in. But things are getting worse. Neci has declared war on those that don’t follow her decrees, like the microchips. Of course the school is trying to prepare the new warriors yet at the same time hoping Emily’s father will come back and save the day again.
I love how Emily has grown since the last book. Of course now we have more hormones and being boy crazy to add to the mix. But I loved Neci and more of her story. I understand why she would want revenge. But what gets me is how everyone is just expecting Emily’s dad to come back and save the day.
This is a great fantasy story for older mid-grade readers, teens, and anyone else that loves young adult fantasy. I love where this story is progressing and I can’t wait to read the next book. Make sure you check out the Emily Knight series.
I received a complimentary copy of thess books. I voluntarily chose to read and post honest reviews.
