My Review
4 stars
This is a little craft book of fifteen patterns for little pom pom projects from penguins to bookmarks. They are bright and colorful like I used to do as a kid with a piece of cardboard and some extra yarn. The only thing different is that they now have pom pom makers. I think that takes the fun out of it a little bit.
The book as colorful pictures of what you can make then the instructions for assembly. The back of the book shows how to make pom poms with the makers. I really love the pictures for the sushi rolls; they look just like the real thing.
I do think the order of the book should be switched around a little. I would like to learn how to make the pom pom first then what I could do with it. Also, I have a problem with the string that tightens everything up not being tight enough and the inside strings escaping. But I think that is me just having trouble with this.
Over all this is a quick and easy craft for any age. Pom poms are more than just an addition to the top of hats and I love the different things they can make. I am curious about other books from Katie Scott.
I received a complimentary copy of this book. I voluntarily chose to read and post an honest review.
