Review of Hunterland
Olivia Davis is a high school senior. She runs the house with her rebellious sister and police chief father. We start the story with a second teacher hanging themselves at the high school. This is the second adult to have done so in the last couple years. But things get more interesting when Liam Hunter and his family show up to hunt the monsters.
It seems that this is a supernatural killing and several nurses in the surrounding areas have been found hung. But this is not the only thing happening. There are vampires and werewolves that have their own problems and trying to reach out for help.
Of course the sparks fly with Olivia and Liam when one moment they are drawn to each other like magnets and the next trying to remember how this is a short term event and that they can’t get too close.
I really enjoyed this story. Olivia is a sweetheart that is doing her best to keep her family together. Liam is the typical bad boy that can’t help but be drawn to Olivia but this time it is so much more than his usual flings.
The killer was a great twist, I didn’t expect who it was. But there is so much more going on than just spirits. Vampires need help and things are not as they seem when it comes to the Davis girls.
I’m so glad to see that this is the first in a series. I can’t wait to see what kind of creatures is in story for the Davis’ and Hunter’s.
