The Bishop’s Legacy (World of Shadows – 3) by Lincoln Cole

Everything is falling apart for Niccolo Paladina as his mistakes come back to haunt him. He’s been reminded once more that the shadowy world in which Arthur inhabits is not his own.

He is ready to face the consequences for his actions, but not until he has dealt with the threat he’s helped to create. Things are getting desperate, though, and they are worried that more people will be hurt before they can bring things to an end.

My Review

5 stars

Hot on the heels of The Vatican Children, Niccolo, Arthur, and the other hunters are tracking down the children. These kids have abilities that many adults would not be able to control and have been trained to kill which is making it difficult for the Council of Chaldea. Arthur and Niccolo are also going to have to decide how far they are going to go for the sake of the masses.

Arthur and Niccolo are running around trying to stop The Vatican Children. But this is going to make Niccolo realize how dark Arthur’s world is and how he doesn’t really fit in. It also makes him realize the consequences of his actions in Everett Exorcism. But there is no time to really dwell on this as there is a kid with a lot of power and a chip on his shoulder to stop.

I love this series. I’m glad that I have read this one before really tackling World on Fire. This is a dark story with lots of action and even betrayal. Arthur is going to learn that not everyone is acting in his best interest. I can’t wait to go back and pick up with Raven’s Peak again and finish the World on Fire.

I received The Bishop’s Legacy from the author for free. This has in no way influenced my opinion of this book.
