Jezebel White is a court-appointed psychologist that is supposed to be helping people. But her real job is as a human trafficker and she uses her patients. But to justify it in her mind, Jezebel only picks those that really deserve it and won’t be missed. But then Detective Asher Wilson shows up looking for a missing girl, Athena Elias. He has Jezebel in his sights and is trying to prove she killed Athena. Jezebel on the other hand is being framed for Athena’s death and must figure out who I after her.
This is a cold and brutal story. Jezebel clearly has issues and is not a likable character at all, I mean she is a human trafficker. But there is way more to this story than just Jezebel getting framed or Athena’s death. Jezebel is cold and manipulative and clearly doesn’t care for anyone but herself. But she has her own past and will make you question her behaviors.
This was a good yet brutal psychological thriller. It makes you question that fine line of if Jezebel is really a brutal killer when she is taking care of those that have clearly done wrong.
