A young girl goes missing at a summer camp and three months later her body is found. When a senator’s girl goes missing Eva Rae Thomas is asked to look into the disappearance. But Eva has a lot on her plate already. She went through a divorce, has moved her three girls back to her hometown, and is dealing with the girls acting out. Even if she promised not to work again she is asked to and can’t say no to the mother.
This is a great story with a lot happening. Eva is good at her job but broken from the divorce. Besides, how can you tell a grieving mother no when they ask you to find their daughter. Although there is a lot happening in this book it was very easy to keep up with the different events.
I have loved Willow Rose’s books since I started reviewing books many years ago. She is an amazing writer that draws you in with her writing and leaves you wanting more. This is the first in a new series and I can’t wait to read more about Eva Rae Thomas.
I received a complimentary copy of this book. I voluntarily chose to read and post an honest review.
